Potential neighbor threatens with difficulties

Well....the whole thing sounds more like he felt he was on the safe side, the old grandma would give him the land after 100 times, a few nice words, a little coffee chat, that works. And then grandma's son or grandson comes along and says, are you crazy, to give the money away? We'd rather give it to the broker, that brings more, definitely 140. You think kid? Grandpa bought the plot for 500 Reichsmark.....Said and done....the cake investment went belly up. I’m happy for the bird...,

There have apparently been further talks in the meantime. It was indeed probably something like that. The older generation had promised it to the neighbor for years at a favorable price.

In any case, he now seems to have backtracked because he doesn't want/can't pay that much money and of course one could also take a closer look at his current construction project to see if all setback distances/regulations etc. really fit exactly. The broker apparently did recognize one or two possibilities there and gave the nice neighbor something to think about :-)

Hehe, just marking right away what realtors can be good for :D But it’s also clear, with that guy he wouldn’t have seen any commission. He should bite himself in the ass for having to wait until Erna’s death to close the deal.
