It’s good that you are involved with the house during the construction phase and do not rely entirely on the contractors. From my experience, I can tell you that this is correct and important.

From both a thermal insulation and structural perspective, the cracks in the bricks and the damage of this size are completely harmless.

If you find larger openings through which you can see through, please ask the contractor to foam these openings with 2-component foam (from a thermal insulation perspective).
