Where should space be provided for the pool technology if the outdoor pool is to be realized only after the house construction?

In the basement with empty conduits to the pool area? In a separate pool house? In a shaft near the pool?

What space requirements does such technology have?

Thank you!

Then is one box enough for all the technology?

Google "Pool technikbox"... It’s not a swimming pool you want to put in your garden, is it?

The space requirements depend on the size and equipment of the pool.
- Swimming pool pump
- Filter and flocculation
- Backwash
- Pool heating - heat exchanger?
- Skimmer with connection for clean surface or alternatively pool gutter with connection?
- Automated disinfection solution?
- Space for pool cleaning robot?
- Counter-current system?
- Waterfall shower?
- Massage jet?
- Air bubbling?
- Lighting control?
- Control of the cover?

Hampshire has already summarized quite a bit well. What is still missing is the expansion tank, which is usually larger than the filter. Pool technology in the house makes sense if the distance to the pool is short and there is enough space available. What also needs to be considered with a pool is the heating. The ideal solution is usually connection to the home heating system. If there is a lot of space, also collectors. However, this should already be planned with the home heating system. The pumps require considerable power (often 400V pumps). The main house connection must be able to supply this first, and the wiring in the technical room must be appropriate. Another point is backwashing. Whether automatic or manual, large amounts are pushed into the sewer in a short time. This must be properly dimensioned and pressure-resistant. You won’t get far with an empty conduit. Quickly, it can be 4 or more (200mm). No matter where you ultimately want to place your equipment, you should provide power, water, wastewater, and possibly LAN right from the start.
