Hello!

A question for pool owners who have already gone through a swimming season: We are currently planning the installation of the terrace slabs (90x90x2) and now the question arises whether to use quarter-round molding or square tiles for the pool edging. We like the square option much better, but regarding the "risk of injury" for our children (and us), a rounded version (i.e., quarter-round molding) would probably be more sensible (this is also recommended by the tiler).

How did you handle this?

Best regards
Jochen

If the head hits the tile edge, it doesn't matter whether it is rounded or not. The rounded edges are usually more expensive, and people like to do business with fear there. You could also use rubber mats instead of tiles, etc..... Just pay attention to slip-resistant tiles ...

I see it that way too. The only strange thing is that you have to look through about 100 photos on Google Images before you find a square border. You just wonder if you're missing something...
