For the floor, I used stainless steel concrete screws with 8x105.

Hmm. If M8 is also used for the wall fittings, it will be a challenge to find something suitable for my double-shell masonry .. need at least 35cm to the back wall.

I'm about to start assembling soon as well. Do you remember how wide the holes for the screws were or are? Was 8 mm ideal? I can't find anything on the homepage, only "…with anchor bolts at least 140 mm long."

The holes were, I believe, 8mm, the screws then 10mm. 8 here does not indicate the screw diameter, but the diameter of the drill hole.

Hello,

I would also need an opinion on this topic! We have paved our terrace with heavy concrete slabs 100cm x 100cm x 5cm! The weight per slab is about 115kg! I would like to set up a pergola from Pergolux 3x4 m, freestanding, partially attached to the house! I need your opinion on whether I could simply screw the pergola onto these heavy slabs, after all, that would be about 460kg as counterweight. What do you think?

Hello,

in the worst case, that can indeed be too little. I was drilled with the sentence "if you don’t get any information about loads to be lifted, assume 70kg/m² as wind suction." This is very conservative and thus contains plenty of safety margins.

So, a quick calculation gives:
4.00m x 3.00m = 12.00m² roof area
12.00m² x 70kg/m² = 840kg lifting force

840kg - 460kg (own weight of the panels = 380kg too much lifting load
Result: if the roof weighs more than 380kg, it won’t fly away during strong winds.
