Hello,

I have four thumb-sized holes in the lower base plate of the outdoor unit of my heat pump, from which condensate drips out. I was advised to seal these with a conical stopper and leave one open to drain the condensate (I do this with the HT pipe to the KG sewer connection).

Now I went to the hardware store and searched A***: but I can't find anything suitable. They should be conical rubber plugs, with the rubber being weather resistant accordingly.

Has anyone done something like this before and are there (simple) products available??

never done, had to do. But I am a fan of repurposing. Rubber stoppers used to always be available in chemical laboratory supply stores. Alternatively, buy three good bottles of wine and then after a "nice weekend" use the corks (belt sander) to rework them for that purpose (they should approximately fit with thumb-sized holes?). They should also last long enough?

Which "expert" gave this advice? What does the installation manual say about this?
