Good day dear community,
we have made good progress with our planning. That means: the plot officially belongs to us. The house is fully planned and the building permit is already there.
Now it was time to apply for drainage. Since our plot has a slight slope towards the north, the house is currently set a bit lower. This is partly because I need every centimeter for the garage height.
Now the "lower set house" bothers me a bit. I have already spoken with our engineer. He gave me 2 options. A. leave it as is. B. fill everything up, but then we have to make the garage significantly lower, since the 3m have to be taken from the original ground level. (lousy rule).
We could still ask the neighbors for permission if it would be okay to go higher, but those who have the plots next to or behind us are still not fixed yet.
What would you do? Does anyone have an idea?
Until now, I thought of a compromise. Meaning only fill up a little, but not all the way to the southern street level. This way, there is less slope at the driveway and the garage can still be made relatively high.
I hope I was able to explain my problem somewhat well.
I have attached a few pictures of the views and the plot plan including the elevation.
Maybe someone has a bright idea.
Best regards
Brauki
