I'm anything but an expert, but with plastic windows I only know of foiling (at least with all the builders I'm familiar with, whom I've exchanged information with so far). As far as I know, powder coating requires an aluminum shell, at least that's my understanding. You need some kind of conductive surface for powder coating.

To my knowledge, the granulate is always white even with gray or anthracite PVC windows. I just checked at Gealan - which I usually recommend because they do not laminate, but "bake in" the color - unfortunately, they also use foil for wood decor. For powder coating, I can only imagine aluminum claddings. For wood decor, aluminum would also have to be laminated - but I don't recall any customer requests for that, and "my" factory existed for more than 40 years after all.

Aluminum can be powder-coated with a wood decor surface using a special process. It is used, for example, in aluminum facade areas.

I saw that when we chose our aluminum Cobond facade. But I don’t think this process is used for window profiles. It is certainly feasible.
