Hello,

how can you connect two sockets in Visio? I click on Connector in the ribbon, click Socket 1, then Socket 2, and nothing appears. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to use special connectors?

Then I also wonder how I should make the supply lines. They come from a riser. How do I get this shaft into Visio and then connect all the supply lines to it? How did you do that?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

I consider Viso an unsuitable tool for this purpose. Either you want to use the drawings to plan in-house work, then rough sketches (mEA) are sufficient. If you want to record/document all cables electronically for third parties, you need suitable software that is also used by electrical or TGA planners. Possibly even BIM-compatible. This software is not only expensive but also requires significant training time (which is why there are appropriate training professions. I could list some that I know, but that won't help you.

For example, we laid cables in-house. For this, we drew sketches on the existing floor plans. Installation on site was then adjusted again, and the cable routing through floor slabs was individually checked since the plumbing sometimes required space that had previously been planned for cable passages (electrical). In the plan, sockets, switches/buttons, lamps, etc. (quantity/position) also look different than on site.
