Have you received a profitability calculation from Helma? It may indicate the expected yield for the year, or even for the month. As well as your planned self-consumption rate. With that, and your current electricity price, you should be able to calculate a compensation. That way, you could compete against Helma.

I would definitely move in, but acceptance is subject to the missing system and the corresponding retention. When it is eventually installed, the remaining payment will be made. You can of course consider damages, but the question is how much you will actually get. However, if a concession has already been signaled, definitely try.

The contract states the delivery date as tentative. and now the question would be what is stated in the contract between the original poster and his builder.

Yes, that is arranged that way anyway. The final installment is transferred half to a notarial escrow account and is only paid out to Helma after I have given my approval.

Have you ever asked Helma what compensation you can expect? As I said, you also have a burden from electricity/heating in the old apartment. That must also be offset. Maybe Helma has experience values.
