Hello everyone! We are moving to the area near Bremen, so to northern Germany, and are considering having a photovoltaic system installed. There are quite a few providers for solar solutions, and in our own research, we have come across the above-mentioned specialist several times, but we do not know anyone in our private circle who has installed solar solutions in the area and could help us with their own experiences. The photovoltaic modules would need to be attached directly to the roof tiles of the house, as it is a single-family house with a pitched roof. I would claim that everything up there is in good condition and will not need to be renewed in the next few years, so an on-roof installation should definitely not be a problem, but I am absolutely not an expert and would definitely have a professional take care of it. I would therefore be really grateful for any personal experiences with providers from the area!

Whether the company is reputable is usually evident from the offer. Simply obtain and compare one from 3-4 providers. Then consider why some may be very cheap or very expensive

Reviews are good, they are active on social networks, references are provided on the homepage, many (local) media report about the company, there are ongoing projects,... all of these are signs for me of a reputable company. I completely agree with Evolith, just request a quote and see what comes back. Requesting a quote does not necessarily mean you have to hire the company. I think a lot also depends on the personal contact. I don't think the offers will differ much, then you would choose the company that suits you best.

The reviews are important, but so is the impression. Salespeople are not craftsmen, and accordingly, the installations are poor if you don't buy from someone who could practically be standing on the roof themselves. By the way, there are about 30 photovoltaic providers in Bremen, did you know that?

Thanks first of all for your assessments and sorry for the late reply. I had so much to do that this unfortunately completely took a backseat. But I was reading along and took it to heart. The time was unfortunately very tight in the last few weeks, now the whole topic had to wait a bit, but I managed to track down a few providers and get in touch with some. I also asked the neighbors in the new residential area about their experiences with providers and got some pretty good tips on who I can contact and who is rather not recommended. We have already received the first offers, we are still waiting for 2 and then we will compare them carefully and get back to those who are in question with inquiries and requests for adjustments. Luckily we don’t have huge time pressure, but it would be good if we could get it done as soon as possible. Actually, the plan was to have it done before we moved in, but unfortunately that’s no longer possible, but not a big deal, other more important things have come up just now.

In today's world, a company will not survive long if it does not deliver good work. Everything is immediately on the internet, and even (local) media jump on it. As long as there isn't a new company almost every month with basically the same name or managing director, many people already look at (and have to look at) the quality. And even if there are negative reviews, you should read them too. Many things are rated negatively. Often the company is not to blame, or the customers just imagine something different.
If you have customers who believe in this area that they just put a few panels on the roof and then are completely self-sufficient even in winter – that just won't work. But no provider is to blame for that.
Have you already requested a quote from [Norddeutschen Solar] or are all these other companies now? Apparently, you can also get a quote online there, which is quite quick. I wanted to try, but unfortunately it only works with a German address.
