Pergola on facade / sealing

Hello,

I am going to build a pergola / louvered roof on our terrace. It is freestanding and will be placed on point foundations. I would like to position the louvered roof against the facade. To protect the plaster and make it watertight, I was thinking of using [Kompriband] so that the minimal gaps/unevenness of the plaster are not water permeable. I would place it between the facade and the pergola.

Is that suitable or is there something else?

Compressible tape yes, but also wall connection profile (mostly made of aluminum).

Is a wall connection profile really necessary?

I wanted, if possible, to not damage anything on the facade.
It is the south side, 80cm roof overhang, city villa…

Otherwise it probably won't be tight. You can try googling if there are only glued profiles.

Water actually doesn't get there at all... usually I have about 40cm of clearance, certainly thanks to the overhang. I just want it prophylactically.

With us, it regularly rains 2m deep under the terrace roof in windy conditions. During storms and thunderstorms, it can even reach head height against the terrace door, where we are then at 3.5m depth. An eaves overhang of 80cm keeps off normal rain, but you will still have plenty of rain there.
