Partial renovation of old building: electrical, bathrooms, floors... questions and progress thread

The current kitchen plan looks like this:



Sink at the bottom of the plan so the pipes don’t have to be routed too far.

The right wall of the plan is actually out of the question for us as a countertop because we can’t run the countertop into the window frame-wise, but 2 cm below the windowsill also looks awkward (our countertop height is 98 cm).

You can, whether it makes sense is another question. But for us, no other option made more sense.

And 100cm parapet height doesn't clash in your eyes with 98cm countertop?

I would like to use the island as a pure work island, then the stove would be a bit cramped opposite, but maybe doable? The one corner cabinet is dead space, but you can live with it.

Can we get the wastewater another 2 meters further?

Where on the wall should a cooktop go? With a hood? with an integrated downdraft extractor? partially in front of the window? Where do you want to put what down?
