It is not my task to evaluate comments made on this subject - but I find it difficult ... Now, how a parquet surface (and we are talking here about multi-layer parquet, not parquet boards or strips) like this must look is clearly and explicitly determined by the product datasheet. There is a classification of the parquet wood, and depending on the classification it is either "flawless" (to put it simply) or there are knots of different sizes that have been filled. Small holes in the wear layer, as in this case, are out of the question and cannot be considered!! It is a reason for complaint, yes, but there is also a possibility of "neutralization." Every parquet installer knows how to work with hard wax (for parquet woods). With small hole radii, after rework later on, nothing will be visible anymore. I would now register it early in writing (!!) to the dealer as a "notice of defect" (warranty lasts 5 years), with the request to professionally and correctly eliminate the holes (never specify a method of removal) ----------------- Regards: KlaRa

But you have already seen the excerpts from the product data sheets, haven’t you?

Answer:
Given the appearances (in the photos), I don’t need that.
The DIN standard as well as the corresponding comments are known to me (due to my profession); such hole-like appearances are neither mentioned as acceptable in the regulations, nor are they acceptable for aesthetic reasons.
In no product data sheet for parquet woods will you find a reference that holeworm-like appearances present on the parquet surface belong to the typical parquet characteristic you want to buy!
There is no need for an additional look into the respective product data sheet!

You should have taken a look. Then you would see the first datasheet in your long career where this is listed as a product feature:

: I really wouldn't have believed it! Thanks for the hint. In conclusion, one can only say: whoever as a consumer reads and internalizes these notes, there is no helping them anymore if they buy such a product. Joke: I am now eagerly waiting for the first PD for laminate floors available to me, where it states that the (note: very weak) locking between the element edges can miraculously loosen itself. Note 2: the appearance already exists, seen in Switzerland itself, not yet fully installed, never subjected to contractual use. Almost all element sides with open joints. In the PD it could (also a joke) say that this product is opaque, but its use is discouraged. ----------------------------------------- Greetings to all: KlaRa

Addendum:
So that the questioner does not fall into a "depressive phase":
With color-matched hard wax, such holes as we name here can also be visually closed in a neutral way.
I would advise amateurs against buying such a set and trying it themselves.
The processing seminar, which I also attended, is necessary for flawless use and color-identical mixing and application of the wax colors.
(Hard wax from Fa. König (available as a wax set with burner, etc.)
