Parquet or cork for new flooring?, children in the household

My girlfriend now has a cork floor in her children's room. She also has two children, who are 5 and 8 years old. They are two boys and they are quite active. The cork floor is, of course, quite different in price compared to a parquet floor. This cork floor is also elastic and it is also gentle on the joints. It can also be laid more easily. But impact sound insulation should be installed as well. Especially on the upper floor, I consider that necessary.
