Parent bathroom + children's bathroom arrangements

Is the need for you adults really 2 sinks, a bathtub and a shower? And how old are the kids? They don’t bathe?

So in the floor plan thread it was said that we should treat ourselves to the bathtub since we will live here longer. The kids are very small and still bathe for a long time. For that reason, we made the path from the hallway extra short to the master bathroom and they don’t have to go through our bedroom. Also, our bathroom is bigger and it just doesn’t work without a bathtub. I would like to have 2 sinks or a double sink for my kids or us. But it’s not a must. Just nice to have. We would probably use it more than the kids.

But I wouldn't necessarily choose a 1.70-meter bathtub. That's really quite small...

The architect just drew that in like that. Is that important for the building permit or can you choose a bigger one during the selection process?

For the building permit it does not matter, however it makes sense to already take this into account now, as the positioning of the furnishings could also lead to changes in the window positions or the drainage. This, in turn, is already relevant for the building permit.

I want built-in walk-in showers in both bathrooms, which completely do without doors.

I find both bathrooms too small for a built-in walk-in shower and all the designs are horrible.
