Outdoor facilities including garage: slope of the courtyard entrance

we are currently planning the outdoor areas including the garage. Our garage has a 19m long driveway along the house entrance with a height difference of about 80cm. Our architect has now proposed to design the first 9m up to the edge of the house with a 6% slope and then the next 10m up to the garage with a 1% slope. Is that sensible? We would like it to be relatively flat in front of the house but do not want to risk puddles... What do you think? Does that work?

Mathematically, you have only compensated for a height difference of 64 cm, not 80 cm.

Right... it's actually just under 60cm! We have now agreed on 4.5% for the first 9m and then just under 2% for the next 10m. This should hopefully allow the rain to drain off well!

Hopefully, an Acorinne will also be planned at the lowest point so that the road (or garage, depending on the orientation) does not get flooded.

Is the street & curbs already finished? Don't want a nasty surprise after completion...

Yes, everything is already there. So it should fit!
