Hello everyone,
we would like to install two orientation lights with motion sensors in the hallway that turn on automatically, for example, when you go to the toilet at night.
It would be ideal if these could be installed in [Unterputzdosen] so that when turned off, they look similar to a light switch or an outlet.
Does such a thing even exist? If so, can you recommend a suitable type for us? The switch program is [Jung Serie CD].
Unfortunately, I only know of devices that are either battery-operated or have to be plugged into an outlet. From my point of view, these look somewhat unattractive.

Search for "Treppenleiuchten". There are many variants because you are not the only one who has this requirement.

There are ones that are completely flush with the socket. That looks very good.

There are plenty. Stair or orientation lamp. They turn on for me at sunset and off at sunrise (Shelly controlled). I found using motion in the hallway silly.

There are sockets with integrated night light LEDs. They are dusk-controlled. The socket remains usable.

It was one of the best upgrades.

I would also choose twilight-controlled lighting, and not only in the hallway but also in the bathroom. Then you don't need to turn on any lights at all, very convenient at night.

We also once had some with motion sensors. But they don't always activate as desired; you then walk towards them in the dark. When you're on the toilet, they sometimes turn off again because of the timer. Annoying. And compared to continuous LEDs, they don't really save electricity.

We retrofitted this (plug-in lamps) provided we also have suitably placed sockets. The brightness can be set individually. A few euros each.
