I’m with Yvonne on this. Take it with humor. It doesn’t have to be ugly at all, properly filled and painted it’s even interesting. Pretend something to him and have a goodie credited to you. Nice washbasin? A few spotlights outside around the house? Staircase to the front door, that would fit the topic.... Karsten

Why not. During the final inspection, it was noticed that a towel radiator was 10 cm too far to the left and therefore our desired bathroom cabinet did not fit next to it. To fix this, the floor would have had to be broken up, the underfloor heating relocated, and the rather expensive tiles on the floor and wall redone. Our builder initially refused and argued with the effort involved. However, he eventually agreed to replace all bathroom ceramics with even higher-quality ones. So nothing with 50€ for small cosmetic defects - contract is contract and I would have pursued it legally.

If it can no longer be fixed, we will in any case extend the "Schräge" all the way to the front so that it does not look too bad.

Lowering the ceiling would be feasible, but it does not fit visually because it is located exactly at the entrance of the living room.

It does _not_ look bad. You can convince yourself of many things. Something else is bad, (e.g. pleated blinds hanging crooked again and again... [emoji41]) Take this area, accentuate it in one color, and hang your family's favorite picture there. You can do some whining with the GU, but the effort to regulate it can only cause more damage. ...

Regards, Yvonne

Edit: I would let footprints [emoji188] in your color stumble up... very original [emoji847]

So what is it now? - that is not insignificant.

In this matter, I would say: rather charming than really bad, get a goodie and that's that. But definitely something substantial, appropriate to the avoided effort.

But as said, your legal position, whether buyer or client, is already relevant.

Technically, you carry this through with drywall right up to the front edge.
