Hello everyone,
we are currently looking for a suitable plot of land for ourselves and have come across a really nice one, which is also great in terms of price. However, it is on a slope and has a somewhat strange shape. Therefore, I wanted to hear some opinions on whether you would dare to build on it. The house itself can also be a bit more unusual. :)

About the plot: You can already see quite a bit in the picture. It is a wide but not very deep plot. The driveway to the plot is at the front from the street. From the street to the depth of the plot, there is a drop of about three meters.

About the house: The house should probably be placed as far to the right as possible so that the main garden faces west, that's as far as we've thought. It should be a wide house that can be at most 9 meters deep (according to building boundaries). We would like a double garage, which should probably be placed as far right and back as possible, and the main entrance then from the right? Does it make sense to have the main living area on the ground floor and cellar half of it? We would then use the cellar more as a wellness area with sauna and utility room and the upper floor for the bedrooms? You are allowed to build one and a half stories.

We would be very happy to receive many, many opinions. Of course, I am also happy to answer further questions if I have not explained something well enough in the description.

Maybe make it bigger again or copy it and set it with the dimensions and the building envelope. :)

Does really no one have an idea or any opinion about the property?

No one can really tell you that. Without a development plan or exact measurements/terrain profile, etc., there are just a few lines to be seen. Where is the property located, what does it cost, soil report, location, residential binding, noise pollution, neighboring buildings, etc. etc. etc. Whether a property fits depends on so many factors that no one here can tell you if it "fits."

My suggestion: look for architects or house providers and talk to them about the property/visit it. Some costs may already be incurred here, though. But better that than ending up with a property you don't like.

Regards, Ben
