According to the architect's draft, the living room door should be opened inward into the living room when viewed from the hallway. After that, the tiler also laid the tiles in the hallway; see picture. Upon closer consideration, it is almost more sensible for this door – it is supposed to be a glass door – to open outward toward the hallway. There is more space there. If the dining table in the living room were ever fully extended, the open door would be in the way. But doesn't it look bad if the part visible from the living room under the door frame is tiled? Vinyl will be laid in the living room.
