Oh, you mean prestressed concrete slabs? I haven't seen them anywhere in this new building, but well, I suppose they exist. Filigree slabs (element slab/reinforced concrete precast slab with cast-in-place concrete) seem to be standard to me. Take a look at the house construction pictures.

I know that they are currently very popular. However, many other construction methods for floor slabs are not rendered outdated as state of the art by this, and are still frequently used. If you take this forum as a benchmark, a distorted picture can easily arise: for example, as if there were nothing to build with except Ytong and Poroton (or at least, as if other bricks had no relevance in the market). I live in an area with a strong presence of KLB and Bisotherm – where, by the way, there are also precast ceiling factories. Surely, you can find that in other regions as well, where routines largely ignore the national trend.

I also see it in the new development area and simply everyone has it there. These things just have a cost advantage and are quick to process. And when I look at your statements about other versions, it becomes clear to me that there are apparently other advantages as well.

So with us there is a pure in-situ concrete ceiling and also with the walls we are "not normal"

But now back to the topic:
Maybe it would make more sense to tell us the m² or m³ of bricks used or the price per m² of bricks used. The pure floor area does not say anything about how much wall surface is actually in there... Here I can certainly give you a reference point from our [LV]...

11.5 cm Ytong walls are not suitable for bearing ceiling loads. Load-bearing walls, both interior and exterior, should be 24 cm thick.
