Hopes are rarely materially justified unless contractually agreed upon! Moreover, neither the architect nor the structural engineer are trained TGA planners! Didn't the architect inform you but dispensed with cooperation from specialist engineers to keep the total sum at the bottom right as low as possible? However, if an architect acted here with self-authorization as a joint debtor, he now has so-called the bad card! Now take him to task! You will probably have to expect significantly excessive consumption costs for heating and hot water in the future, as the extra consumption of the heating circuit pump probably only plays a subordinate role.

@Euro: Thanks in advance for the response. Unfortunately, I don’t have the documents at hand since I’m currently at the office. However, I have now informed my architect again to forward it to the heating engineer and have him take a look at the matter. As for the other thing, the fact is that as a layperson, you simply have no idea about TGA planners, etc. You plan with architects and heating engineers, and normally you should be informed if something like that can happen, because I usually assume that the architect plans it correctly, also using the required specialist engineers. Or he informs me that one is needed but then it costs X more.

Hello,

Unfortunately, such "small" units like single-family houses are often treated somewhat neglectfully in terms of system planning. Both heating engineers and architects often believe that it can also work without it. It is estimated, assumed, and presumed.
In my opinion, this is absolutely no longer up-to-date or corresponding to today's necessities. The new technology can be very efficient, but at the same time also very sensitive and accordingly expensive. Missing or incorrect planning/execution are quickly reflected, for example, in excessive consumption costs. Often unnoticed by the operators. Many do not even know that their consumption is actually partly significantly too high.

How should they also, since a solid basic determination (actual demand/consumption (performance, energy) for heating and hot water) is usually missing.
Whether a system could possibly be suspected here, each reader may decide for themselves.
You can report whether you were given a demand and consumption calculation in advance.

Best regards
