Hello,
All electrical work was also done in the finished shell by us.

However, we do not have any spotlights.

Best regards
Birgit

So drilling through the ceiling afterwards is 1980, but just cheaper than 180mm Halox boxes with a large transformer channel. Personally, I also have these Kaiser universal ceiling outlets concreted in for planned pendant lights. You can screw them in directly and don’t have to unpack the hammer drill for every lamp.

It may be old-school, but that way I was able to determine the exact position of all the lamps, etc. during the shell construction and didn’t have to fix it on the plan.

We made small changes regarding walls, etc. during the construction period, the lamps would have been in the wrong place.

Besides, the point is that the OP currently doesn’t have an electrician, so I wanted to show that it is not mandatory to lay the electrical wiring on the filigree ceiling.

Then I would say: where a cable can be laid, an empty conduit can also be laid.

If it is simply about lamps that do not necessarily require installation boxes etc. (e.g. spotlights), then it is absolutely legitimate to wire them on the ceiling and drill through the ceiling. This only goes wrong if ventilation pipes are concreted into the ceiling ;)

Well, let's just hope that the architect didn't just plan the spots and leaves the climate stuff to the chance of improvisation.
