Hello,
for me gardening is a closed book. Now unfortunately I have the following problem, I live in a house where the owner can no longer do anything but wants it to be maintained. However, a lot has already become overgrown by now. I would do it, but I can hardly pull everything out with gloves, a shovel, and a small pair of scissors.
He has several spots along the paths and house walls where he planted a bit wild. So I have everything from small trees, bushes, and large and small plants.
As far as I know, all the gardening tools you need are available. but I have no idea what I actually need. Are there any gardening experts here who can maybe give me pointers on how to proceed best?
I thought the best thing to do is to cut everything back to what is necessary and dig out the rest, but with what do I cut and are there digging tips or do I really have to take everything out with the shovel?
I have already asked the experienced homeowner, but he is over 90 and unfortunately is already struggling with corresponding "age quirks." I don't get any useful tips from him anymore and sometimes I think he always liked doing it very much, but he isn’t really knowledgeable and effective when it comes to gardening.
I would therefore be very, very grateful for helpful tips. Basically, I assume CH have all kinds of gardening tools available, even if they are not the most common ones for home use, since I still know some garden owners who can provide me with quite a bit if necessary.
Best regards
