If it is required in the building permit, the execution plans should have been changed and you should have signed again as well as received information that such a door cannot be delivered by the contractor – which does surprise me a bit, as this is not exactly rocket science.

It is a bit dumb of the construction company, but you probably wouldn’t have gotten around the costs of a special door. I would buy the T30 door and try to have them install the door free of charge.

Best regards

Attention: If a fire protection door is required, this may mean that the door frame also needs to be modified. The craftsman is responsible for completing a declaration of conformity after installation, which must be handed over to the client along with the manufacturer's approval notice and installation instructions.

Correct. In my opinion, she is not liable for the costs of - the wrong door - the installation of the wrong door - the removal of the wrong door. I find that quite weak.

Hello Brandt123

such a fire protection door costs 200 euros. Plus the door closer.
I would try to have the construction contractor install the door, and you provide the door.
It is quite simple (an hour and the thing is in) to install such a door, but during the building inspection you might be asked for confirmation of correct installation.
I have always installed my doors myself. Never had any problems.
