Thank you, that is a good tip.... :D

Here are my values from 2021. Roof fully equipped with 30 modules and no storage.
I have a south-facing roof.

Then I'll submit the package insert later and point out the side effects, that in the ***Hustenanfall*** you’ll run into some really nasty nerds who will totally cold shower you with their expertise and possibly confuse you for good :p

But the simple initial question "Should I take 18 kWp without storage or 10 kWp with storage for the same money?" will surely be answered 100 to 0 there

So, is that good or bad now? With my non-existent expert knowledge but healthy common sense, I would say that is "bad." Because 33% self-sufficiency is too little for me. I’m not going to install a system worth 30k on the roof just to draw 70% of my electricity from the grid??? Or have I simply been deceived by a misconception, a utopia, and good marketing so far? Until now, I was under the impression that if I put a photovoltaic system on the roof, I would get 70 - 80% for self-consumption (even with a heat pump). But that really was probably just a misconception and daydreaming.

For a south-facing roof without storage, I find 30% quite decent. The problem is that it generates electricity around midday during the bright season, but most consumption is rather in the evenings and in winter. With your O/W roof, you will have better initial conditions because electricity is generated throughout the day. And with the business downstairs, you also have consumption all day long. Although that probably consumes a bit more electricity than a private household and, as a result, self-sufficiency may decrease ;)
