New window pane cracked - possible causes?

about 1 1/2 years ago we had new plastic windows from the company Aldra installed (inside white and outside anthracite, P4A burglary-resistant glass) in a 40-year-old house.
A few days ago a crack appeared without external influence in the fixed panoramic glass, starting from the lower left frame diagonally upwards to the right.

My questions to the experts:

1. What are possible causes of the glass breakage?

2. What should I consider to avoid such damage in the future?

3. How expensive could the damage repair be?

Report glass insurance! Exactly such damages are annoying and can be insured for very little money!

Just had a visually identical damage on a new pane. Temperature shock - my kids had placed anthracite-colored cushions in front of the pane. This often happens with new triple-glazed panes. No problems with the glass insurance. However, four weeks delivery time with the glazier.

It rather looks like faulty goods/installation.
