Feel free to ask - you just shouldn’t expect an answer from me; I’m not a banker after all. And yes - the link can gladly remain.

I simply passed on what I retained from the most recent conversation with our financier. It may also be that he mentioned a change from 30 to 55 years at KfW 55; if so, I don’t remember and therefore didn’t mention it. But I do clearly remember TEUR 100 instead of TEUR 50.

I am confident that there are members here who will thoroughly address your question.

Rhenish greetings

Thank you very much construction expert, I didn't want to put you on the spot here either, I'm just naturally very interested in the topic.

For me, a longer fixed interest period with KFW would be more interesting than anything else, but unfortunately, one probably can't expect that. With KFW refinancing, you never really know where the path will lead after 10 years. (Of course, certainly not to the exorbitant) but you simply don't know there either.

I am now also looking forward optimistically to members who may be more active in the financial sector.

How does this fit

with this passage:

@
According to the KfW information sheet for the KfW 153 program from 1.4.2016, there is a 30/5/20 promotion.

I cannot answer for the admin; but I assume that links to the KfW are not meant by this passage. On the other hand, all links to providers or comparable forums are.

And – in case I am wrong – I will get the blame and not Hauslebau3er; so all good

Rhenish greetings

I am only surprised that even a sentence like this still leaves room for interpretation and that a bank may explicitly be advertised. But you never stop learning...

So I didn't want to make a big fuss just because of that one link.. how things always get so out of hand.

I found it and thanks oleda22 for the hint. Quote from the info sheet:

"up to 20 years credit term with 1 to 3 repayment-free years and with a 10-year (20/3/10) or 20-year fixed interest period (20/3/20) or up to 30 years credit term with 1 to 5 repayment-free years and with a 10-year (30/5/10) or 20-year fixed interest period (30/5/20).

Furthermore, the 100,000€ is also noted Quote: "The maximum credit amount is 100,000 EUR per residential unit."

Exactly that makes me positive again regarding KFW. Of course, the interest rate will be decisive, but a long term does offer security.

Is KFW priority number one for repayment in the credit or after, for example, the bank loan?
