There are also limit values for this in Germany, which are rather on the safe side. I really wouldn't worry too much about it.

It's not about the dirt for me, but mainly about the microplastic, which is definitely not preventive in terms of allergies. However, I also understand both of your points and will give it some more thought. Thanks a lot already for your time :)

I only know it from public buildings where a water test is carried out after the drinking water supply is established; is it the same for single-family houses? Because yes, German drinking water is good, but where is the measurement point? At the waterworks? At my home at the faucet?

Waterworks.
However, you can always commission a laboratory to carry out a measurement at your tap.
Costs around 100 euros.

Again, where is microplastic supposed to come from in your drinking water?
The water from the plants mostly comes from groundwater wells and has nothing to do with surface water.
If you have concerns about plastic, do you then also only use glass bottles?

We have installed a filter in our house. However, it is solely for lime, as we have quite a high water hardness. Since we were planning to get a water softening system anyway, we also researched the topic a bit more. The opinions on this are diverse and very diametrically opposed. In the end, we decided against filtering out more than lime because "overly purified" water is said not to be healthy either. So, in other words, if you remove all minerals and everything else as well. Additionally, the more filters you install, the more these filters can become clogged with germs.

What kind of "filter" have you installed against lime? Effectively, only the water softening systems are really effective, but they have high installation costs, maintenance costs, salt costs, pollute wastewater due to the salt, and also change the water quality. ...
