We had one planned. However, during execution it became clear that the idea-giving planner had rather just drawn it, but did not seem really familiar with the technical execution. After the roofers raised the usual concerns and apparently had not done this before, I canceled it. The general contractor was rather glad about that, although he had suggested it for optical reasons. It probably would have looked quite good, but I have fewer problems with one less gutter; it just has to be there. I would rather spend my money elsewhere. If you do it, you should be absolutely sure that the person carrying it out really knows comprehensively what they are doing because water located inside can logically cause problems; well executed, though, it probably won’t. THAT would be my sticking point. When I see my gutter pitched in the wrong direction, I immediately know that my withdrawal was probably the sensible choice.
