Hello,
we built a prefabricated house with Bien-Zenker, that is, timber frame construction. Now we have a painter with whom we are no longer satisfied at all. At first, everything was great and he always said "we'll manage, no problem," and now we have the problems.
Before, everyone told us we should definitely use painter's fleece and silicate paint. We requested this from several painting companies and all of them offered it that way. Now that everything is finished, the executing painting company said that the whole organic stuff was no good and that's why the result is not so good. He blames the paint.
Specifically, you can see, for example, the strips where it was rolled along. There are clumps in the paint everywhere and the texture on the fleece is also very rough. The worst thing is that in some rooms you can see the panel joints of the Knauf Hardboard through the wallpaper.
The following products were used:
- conpart Groundvlies Plus 4090
- Conpart Wandfüller 1024
- Conpart Vlieskleber 1031
- Conpart Silikat Konzentrat LF 1001
- Conpart Bio Innensilikat Elf 3060
The walls are Knauf Hardboard.
Does all this fit together? Or where could the mistake lie?
