Neighbor wants to tear up the street for a new gas connection

If it is not the case that a public road is being torn up, then it must be approved by the municipality/city. Otherwise, just provide the information to the responsible building authority – they will certainly take a look at the matter.

What do you have to do with it? Just because it bothers you that the street is briefly torn up or as supposed revenge because the apartment building blocks the sun. This will surely have been clarified a long time ago with the building permit, and you don't have to worry about preventing anything at all. Besides, with what interest should anyone from the municipality give you information. You simply have no right to it.

I don’t understand why the discussion partly immediately deviates again. I had a question and it was obviously answered. I don’t see it as emotionally as others here are interpreting it again. I am not pursuing revenge or any other emotions. The planning of the house was already known to us before the purchase. I just find it idiotic and really unnecessary with an existing connection. Especially since we currently need access for our garden landscaping.

That is of course really annoying when you need the street right now. I can totally understand that, and finding it strange to connect the apartment building like that as well, but I don’t understand accusing the neighbors of something probably authorized and trying to prevent it even though it’s not your property.

Patch carpet? Well, you can hardly prevent that.

But where should the problem be if there is a gas line running there, or do you want to dig there?
