Hi everyone, I just got home and I am shocked... The neighbors have to retain about 60cm in height and have now had curbstones placed on the boundary. Strangely, the entire concrete retaining wall is on our property! Oh yes, and our green manure is also completely trampled and our small bed concreted over. What can I do?

Well, it's normal to place the concrete apron on the left and right .. otherwise the stones would topple over. Were you never involved in the project?

But those small stones don't hold back 60cm. Talk... Maybe a more assertive approach. And tomorrow I would confront the landscaping contractor to ask if he is blind and what his plans are to fix it. Edit: If curbs absolutely have to be placed on the property boundary, there are also L-shaped stones. Yes, even in mini size. That way you "save" the back support.

They started with L-bricks and then continued with the curbstones.

Not really involved, we just knew that they were putting something there.

They are also cheaper. If you really want to save 5-10cm, you either have to have nice neighbors or continue with L-blocks and save yourself the support. What is supposed to go there anyway? Is that a driveway?

I was with him just now, he will inform the landscape gardener tomorrow that I am dissatisfied with it.

Where they started with the L-bricks, it is even 72cm, which is 12cm more than allowed.

It concerns their north side, a garden house will still be placed at our boundary there.
(There are still 1-2 hours when our garden is not shaded, which must be changed)
