Need creative help with bathroom planning

Yeah yeah, whenever someone messes up the floor plan themselves, others are supposed to work miracles through 'creativity' ... why bother planning in detail first and then building, when you can just start building right away, thinking can come later.

I don’t find it bad at all to think about a little room, but lately it’s been incredibly often that as a helper you have to ask for every important detail, really exhausting :(

And yes, to be honest (you wanted to know): You hardly have space for a proper standard shower, even less for a really nice shower. The room is clearly a gap filler on the upper floor with its measurements and will look like that, too. Much too long and the window in the wrong place – the back area will be very dark. Well, at least the window can’t take away any usable space :) If it were different, you wouldn’t be here.

Our bathroom is also elongated and rather narrow, the dimensions are similar. The door position is basically the same (just mirrored). However, we do not have a sloping roof (which simplifies things) and the windows are placed differently, so that wouldn't work for you. Still, just as inspiration, I am attaching the floor plan of our bathroom.

I consider your bathroom clearly too narrow for a T-layout. I would have liked to have a T-layout as well, but due to the bathroom's dimensions, we decided against it. There are also many beautiful bathrooms without a T-layout. I think for a T-layout you definitely need more than 3 meters of width in the bathroom, otherwise it won't work.

I find your window position very unfortunate. The room is so long and the window is right behind the door. I suspect it will sometimes feel like a windowless bathroom, especially if the door is open. The back area will become very dark.

I find ypg's suggestions quite good and would build on that.
