Natural cellar / vaulted cellar - how to use?

How did it disappear?

Well - extensions and additions. My parents moved in in 1980 and then bricked up the access from the inside (there was apparently already a second one from the outside). It was hardly used until now - but since I now have the opportunity to take it over, I want to think about it.

If you want to do something energetic to the house, it will probably be difficult with the exit from the inside to the cold cellar or will result in problem areas.
One room in our house is a vaulted cellar. I am already looking forward to storing my own fruits and vegetables there and stocking up on supplies after moving in.
