Does fan mean photographer yourself?
Analog or digital?
With analog you could set up a darkroom, develop yourself.
With digital photography: high speed photography fan? Water drops, for example, are huge fun. Requires water tank, drip mechanism. Not something you can just clear away quickly. Hang pictures in the basement?

How do you indulge your SciFi hobby?
Maybe display a collection in the basement, game room, whatever?

Are you a wellness lover?
Hot tub, sauna, relaxation area?

Or more of a handyman? Workbench, tool cabinets, perhaps build furniture from wood yourself?

Bookworm? If it’s dry, library and reading lounge, atmospheric lighting in the vault.

For storage I’d find the vaulted cellar too precious...

Would you like to show pictures?

So curious!

Uh ... Black masses, dominatrix studio (?) Higgins and the boys live in the main house, and there is also the wine cellar ...

Hello and good morning,

thanks for the feedback so far, I was pleased.

So:
- Dominastudio ... is off the table for now, I’ll keep it in mind
- Whisky, I don’t drink any alcohol, that would be a waste
- Wellness: I probably have enough space upstairs as well
- Handyman work: I still have an old garage from the farmhouse times on the property with over 40m², that will be enough for that...

There is a "Kniestock," it is about 1.60m high, then a vault up to about 3m (I need to measure it soon). I want to set up a thermometer and a hygrometer in the next few days to see what the numbers are like. It actually feels very dry.

About my hobbies: being a SF fan does not mean I go to conventions or anything like that. A few keywords: Douglas Adams, Perry Rhodan, Star Trek, Simak, Dan Simmons, Discworld.

I photograph as a hobby, digitally with a Sony A7II (earlier), now again with a proper camera (Nikon D800).

Hello ruediger 42

I am currently working on the M84 cycle.
Ren Dark the current ones.
And I have built myself a climate cellar.

Hello

take a look at the books by John Scalzi. Especially the trilogy "Krieg der Klone". Consists of 4 (four) books.

Hi Steven!

M84 is a really cool cycle (and I know them ALL)
War of the Clones is cool, already read it.
