Hello, we are building a prefabricated house with a basement (concrete), on the basement floor (floor slab) the sealing membrane ("Alujet Floorjet") has already been laid and pulled up a bit on the walls and glued there. The electrician then laid underground cables (electric cables) on the floor and fixed the cables to the floor with cable clips and nails. Is that OK? In these spots, the sealing membrane is basically somewhat "leaky," moisture can wick through the barrier via the nails ...

... just 24 hours .. and you certainly didn’t want a nonsensical answer. And, if the problem is solved, then it is good old forum etiquette to also post the solution. That way, others can benefit from this thread as well.

Unfortunately, I am only getting around to replying now. I am also building a house on the side... Since we are currently at exactly the same stage, I was curious and looked in our basement. Result: the electrician glued, the plumber nailed. See pictures. I would also be interested in how it should be done correctly!

I also agree, the waterproofing against rising damp will be carried out here shortly as well, and of course, conduits etc. will be installed on top of that.
