Rarely. Standard ring space seals are generally useless with pressing groundwater or backed-up seepage water. Furthermore, these are not fixed points according to DVGW regulations.

Is the ring space seal suitable for the disposal pipe (wastewater)? The current plan is to insert a sleeve pipe when casting the concrete wall and later use the KG pipe with ring space seal in it.

Wastewater is discharged to the outside through another opening. You can't avoid that, if only because of the dimension. Wastewater KG pipe DN 100 (max. DN 150) costs me 200 gross plus core drilling (DN 200).

We are building without a gas connection and have no pressurized water either. Therefore, there should be nothing against the ring gap sealing. I am certainly not the only one using this solution, and in many cases, the expensive MSE could be avoided.

I did not understand your last sentence.
