Hi,

Unfortunately, it is not explicitly stated anywhere. Can I make additional repayments of the 153 *monthly* alongside the regular repayment + interest? It only says everywhere from 1000€, or does that mean annually?

The 124 is unfortunately very rigid :-(

During the initial fixed interest period, you can repay the loan amount in full or in partial amounts starting from 1,000 euros without any additional costs.

That sounds tempting

What is appealing about paying off a cheap loan early rather than a more expensive one?

Objectively, you are right. But look at it the other way around. If you have the possibility to make special repayments on the 153 within 4-5 years, the total burden would be almost 400€ lower in one go. So you then have the choice to put the now free 400€ into the main loan or not.

How do you know that the other loan is more expensive?
