Hello everyone,

I have made an overview of the monthly expenses in a Kfw 70 house with 2 people.
Did I forget something? Are the values realistic?
We both work long hours and only get home at 7 pm.
The house has a controlled residential ventilation system and a fireplace. Heating is underfloor heating completely on the ground floor and normal radiators upstairs.
Floor area approx. 150 square meters.

Overview:

I’ve done that once too. The values seem realistic. The electricity consumption depends on what you have or run, respectively. 3 freezers, and an 80 inch plasma :) Then it gets tight :)

I have the following points as well:

Do you have a ventilation system? Water softener?
Ventilation filter: 150€ / year
Salt tablets: 30€ / year
Maintenance: 200-300€ per year
Additional fuel costs for the car, or second car.
For wood costs, roughly calculate 90 € / cubic meter

Life insurance and disability insurance?

Building insurance 40€ a month? If I remember correctly, we don't even pay half of that. More like a third...

@Der Da: What you listed there I have as personnel costs on another sheet ;) yes, controlled residential ventilation is included, the money for repairs, ... is also listed somewhere else ;) I'm only concerned about the fixed costs which I have probably always stated a bit higher, also for the insurances to be on the safe side.

Well, maintenance is fixed costs :)

Fixed costs can also include a gardener who prunes your trees once a year, or winter snow removal service. We will have a company do a thorough cleaning of our windows once a year... luxury we treat ourselves to, and somehow you have to deduct something from taxes as well :) [Haushaltsnahe Handwerkerleistungen]

Caution with insurances: The question here is: What is insured, to what extent, and with which add-ons. Our building insurance would also cost almost €400 per year, but through a special quota we have a permanent 40% discount on it. For that, we have insured increasing replacement value and included some extras that are otherwise expensive. For example, glass breakage is covered even if
