Missing plaster inside at ventilation pipes.

Hello everyone, the pipes for the ventilation system run through a small storage room on the ground floor. Now, during the interior plastering, a strip about 30cm wide where the pipes are lying was not plastered. Since this is an exterior wall, the question is whether it is absolutely necessary to plaster that part. I hope the picture clearly shows what I mean. The adjacent wall is an interior wall.
