Hello, I bought a large plot of land (2500 sqm) where nothing has been done for years, a hoarder lived there, there is a pile of rubbish, a small old house and lots of wood. Now the grass is meters high and shrubs are growing wildly all over, I started digging out the stuff with roots in a small spot because I began building a wood shelter, but when I think about doing that over the entire area.... does anyone have a better idea?

Best regards Ronny

With my small plot of land of 350m², the excavator did that right away during the excavation. About 0.5-1 hour. Otherwise, if available, a farmer with a plow or flock of sheep.

Hi!

So, the fun of digging and shoveling always fades very quickly.

My tip: If somewhere around an excavator is digging, speak to the driver immediately (not the excavator).

In this way, we were able to distribute our excavation in the garden quite cheaply (3% of the normal offer price!!).

Everything else is more exhausting and pointless pastime.

Best regards,
Tomtom.

Tell me, I have two field paths on the left and right sides of my property, which supposedly belong to the municipality. But at the back, in the last corner of the property, I have an "old driveway" where I actually need to drive in. Unfortunately, I can't get in there because a large lilac bush stands in the middle of the path. About 5 by 3 meters or so. Am I allowed to just remove it, or do I have to ask someone? A neighbor said I can remove it from his side. The office said regarding the driveway that it is protected by existing rights, so I don't have to close it...

Hello!

That’s really something. An "old driveway" is not the same as a right of way!

Otherwise, the legal situation should be clear to you – just imagine if a neighbor were to speed through the facilities on your property!

Regards,
Tomtom.

I think the best solution would be to rent an excavator because doing it by hand takes months or so!
