Refers to wooden parts that are directly exposed to the weather --> facade Your stud frame is protected. And a facade plinth is necessary........

Just out of interest... how can one "protect from the outside" and what is a "Fassadensockel"?

Thanks!

for example by sealing sheets, weather-resistant materials.....

well, in your drawing you have already drawn such a base (XPS). With the term façade base I just wanted to make clear that I do not mean a masonry base as your structural engineer wants it.

Did you glue the XPS board with bitumen? I see a capillary risk at the bottom edge of the XPS board.

First of all, THANK YOU!
If I understand that correctly, I could theoretically place the wooden stud directly on the base slab (of course properly executed with sealing membrane, etc.) and then in the lower area (‘base’) instead of the wood fiberboard simply use a weather-resistant insulation (e.g. XPS) (glued with bitumen )?
Something like this?:

That would be exactly the alternative I was looking for (less wave and cheaper, no ‘material mix’,...).

Best regards, Mike

Then everything is clear now!
