Kuhzwei is okay for [Raufaser], too rough for [Vlies].

Oh, that's going to be a huge effort. Besides, I have to teach myself how to do the plastering first. But with the prices, I really don't see the point in having someone else do it.

Spackling is annoying. And not easy. No amateur handyman around who might want to earn some extra money?

I am curious about your result and your satisfaction.
Especially such finishing work I would never do myself, especially if I have no idea about it.
YOU see that every day, I would break down in a corner if I had to look at it every day, that is if it didn't turn out well, just because I wanted to save money.

In my opinion, a good painter really matters. But everyone has different standards.

I understand that, I totally agree with you. I'm not afraid of painting either, I've done it myself many times (and satisfactorily). I'm not completely unskilled in handiwork, but you have to learn everything first. If I don’t try it and later see how easy it actually is, then I will be even more annoyed about the €20,000 I could have saved.
My cousin is a hero when it comes to stuff like that, he does everything himself, maybe he can teach me.

23k depending on the version or how often it's filled, is a good price. I initially wanted to do everything myself. Upon closer inspection, the amount of work was such that I would have needed another half year for it. Really don't underestimate that. I can only agree with the previous speaker. It’s what you see in the end. I had everything inside painted by a retired painter, at an unbeatable price. The result is something completely different from my trial room. In hindsight, I would have paid more too (since there's a clear difference from my work). Now I have the walls in Q4 instead of Q3 and am satisfied and really don’t regret the money.
