Hello everyone,
we fell in love with a country house plank at an exhibition, Steirer, brushed knotted oak with matte lacquer. It is a 3-layer engineered parquet, 14mm, with a 3.6mm wear layer.
But it costs almost €80/m².
Now I have looked around a bit and there are other manufacturers as well - for example T&W Boston country house planks oak country brushed, matte lacquered surface. A comparable LHD costs just under €50, also 3-layer, no MDF but softwood backing like the Steirer, 4mm wear layer. Only no 4-sided bevel, only 2-sided. Of course, I still have to experience the plank in real life, but if it also pleases visually/haptically, is there anything against T&W?
