Many defects in exterior roller shutters

Hello, I hope I can get some tips here. We built in 2012 and have electric exterior shutters in white aluminum on all windows. On one corner element, there are cassette shutters. The box is hidden, so it is not noticeable. The shutters are now installed in reverse there, and the slats are getting more and more dents and scratches. The window installer says this is normal. Is that really so? After only 9 years? These are expensive Weru windows and these two large shutters from Roma. Many thanks in advance Best regards Monika
