Hello everyone,

we are a bit desperate with the flood of lamps, because somehow it’s hard to find anything suitable.

We have 6 wall lamps in the living and dining area, 4 more in the ground floor hallway, and two each per staircase landing.

At least in the living/dining area I would like to have the same lamps, but I wouldn’t mind if all the lamps were the same.

In the hallway we still have downlights in the concrete ceiling, in the living room another ceiling outlet and of course also at the dining table, so not all lamps need to be for festive lighting.

It would be important that all of them (except maybe on the stairs) are dimmable, preferably have replaceable bulbs – but that’s not a must.

We would be very happy to get a few tips.

Hello Sebastian,

here is also my recommendation for the online shop "Lampenwelt". I have had very good experiences there. The telephone consultation was also good and the prices are right.

Which lamp you then choose is, as so often, a matter of taste

Yeah, thanks - I've already ordered two lamps from them - only the delivery times were a disaster every time. Price-wise they were always unbeatable - for our recessed floor lamp in the living room some wanted almost double the price.

Of course, taste is subjective, but maybe someone here has a great tip.

I have never had any problems either

One more tip: If you order larger quantities, call in advance and ask for a quote. I got another 15% off the internet price on our built-in spotlights and light bulbs

It is now very specific in terms of taste, but I would like to throw something like this into the room:

You can even build these parts relatively easily yourself if you feel like it. Advantage: It will be comparatively cheap and you are hardly bound by the design. For that, you only need the appropriate fittings, some cables, and a few lamp sockets.

You can find quite a bit on Google under the keyword "Steampunk lamp."

We just came back from buying lamps again (3 years after moving in). We still lack a living room lamp and to this day a wall lamp above the bed that optionally provides indirect light or reading light. We finally solved the second problem today. It is now a 53 cm long Honsel Pare (18.9W LED, 1800lu, 3000K), which can be tilted upwards for indirect light or downwards for reading. It was also important for us that the lamp has its own switch. I’m so glad that this is now history. Hopefully, the living room lamp problem will be solved by the 4th anniversary of moving in.
