Quick update. I've started telling relatives that we're looking for a plot of land. Apparently, my wife's grandfather has been mowing a plot for an elderly couple who always wanted to move to our village for 15 years. It seems they have now decided against it, and if they find a vacation apartment, they are willing to sell us the plot. We don't know yet if the price will be right in the end, but there is hope. So just letting everyone know that you're looking can even help. The plot is about 1000sqm + 600sqm leased meadow.
