IF a suitable spot can be found for it: gladly

preferably not "at the farmer's," but next to a 60 sqm barn or an abandoned one-man car workshop or whatever can be found with 40 to 80 sqm of uninhabitable USABLE space ...

I had already looked at a plot of land with this in mind with old buildings in the form of the ruin of a weekend cottage that has been left to decay for 20 or 30 years --> since it would be in the middle of residential buildings, a replacement building of similar size would probably not have been a problem legally? The problem was the extreme slope --> to place a finished tiny house there would probably have required a transport helicopter!

depends on what you define as "junk"?
is a Citroen DS, a "Buckelvolvo" or a Mercedes from the /8 series "junk" if well maintained and in annual car condition?
(just because the car doesn’t have the USUAL equipment OF TODAY)

--> for example, I have a Citroen Xantia from the 1990s as an everyday car - with my "desired equipment" consisting of a sunroof and a hydropneumatic suspension - without "frills" such as air conditioning or electric windows - as a well-maintained first owner retiree car with under 150k km - 2 years ago it was on "special offer" for 500 euros with still half a year of valid inspection because "nobody buys it"

I don’t want junk meaning moldy/water damage because the previous owner didn’t fix the broken roof for 3 years/etc.

everything well maintained as it was built with love and clever ideas in the 1960s: could work for me ...

Can't you get in touch with a relative? You are traveling a lot anyway

Camping at the campsite or buying a motorhome

However, you have to pay for a pitch or you look for a secluded pitch

Something like that is also romantic if you have a date. Vacation is usually much cheaper too. And if you don't like the neighborhood, you just move on

I wouldn't know who? "free to choose my place of residence" (in the situation outlined above) I am also because my mother (whom I visited every 2 to 3 weeks in the past years) passed away last year

Then I'm slowly running out of ideas. It definitely needs something creative to do justice to your situation
